A psychic once told Stacey’s mom that she’d make money with her voice. So you can imagine her shock when the nice singing coach handed back the check for lessons and kindly suggested her daughter pursue anything besides singing. Cast adrift without a singing career, Stacey forged ahead in search of that elusive destiny the psychic had foretold. Then one Autumn morning while walking across campus the sound of Van Halen blaring from a classroom stopped the young student in her tracks. A college radio station? And you actually get school credits for playing music and talking on the radio? Destiny, Meet Stacey Lynn. And so began her radio career. For the last 16 years Stacey Lynn has been one of the most recognizable voices in Portland. As a DJ with a bit of a sassy side, she earned her nickname “Sassy Lynn” while a member of the Z100 Morning Zoo in the late 90’s. Her radio delivery is very real and conversational, like she’s sitting across the table from you chatting over coffee. |
| Always comfortable on a stage, Stacey has hosted many community affairs and charitable events including AIDS Walk, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Race For The Cure. She’s appeared in various theatrical productions including Tony & Tina’s Wedding and The Vagina Monologues.
